Within the past two or three weeks a number of deaths have occurred in the immediate vicinity of Cloverdale. In the first place, the wife of Joseph McGinnis died suddenly. Next, the wife of Dr. Wm. F. McGinnis (the blind man) died suddenly. Her death was followed by that of her father, Mr. Waterhouse, formerly a citizen of this town. On the 9th inst, Dr. Wm. F. McGinnis himself was called hence; and on Saturday last the 11th inst, Joseph McGinnis paid the penalty allotted to sin-fallen man. -k
